rewemind is in early development
This is an early version of a product still being built. Things break, features change, and data can be lost. Please do not make rewemind the only place where something important lives. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
What we store
Your account. Your email address, your display name, your password in hashed form (we never see the password itself), and the dates you signed up and last signed in.
What you create. Notes, lists, tasks, events, places, contacts, chats, tags and uploaded files, along with the links between them and the access you have granted to other people. This is your content — we store it so the app can show it back to you.
Technical records. Our infrastructure providers keep server logs that include IP addresses, timestamps and error traces. We also record anonymous performance measurements from the app (how long an operation took) to find what is slow.
Where it is stored
The database and the file storage run on Supabase (managed PostgreSQL and object storage). The website, the app and file delivery run on Cloudflare. Both are processors acting on our behalf.
Who can see your data
Access is enforced in the database itself: every item carries its own permissions, and a request that lacks them returns nothing. Other users see only what you explicitly shared with them, and you can revoke that at any time.
We do not sell your data, do not share it for advertising, and do not use it to train machine learning models.
One honest caveat: your content is not end-to-end encrypted. It is encrypted in transit and at rest on disk, but the operator of the service has technical access to the database, as with any hosted product of this kind. We access content only when you ask us to help with a specific problem, or when the law requires it.
Cookies
rewemind uses no cookies. Not on the website, not in the app, and not for analytics — we run no analytics or advertising trackers at all.
The app does keep a few things in your browser’s local storage, because it cannot work otherwise: your sign-in session, your language, theme and format preferences, and small interface details such as the last page you had open. These are strictly necessary for a service you asked to use, they stay on your device, and nothing about them is sent anywhere for tracking.
If that ever changes — for example if we move the sign-in session into a secure cookie, which is under consideration for security reasons — this page will say so, and anything that is not strictly necessary will ask for your consent first.
Other services involved
- Mapbox — when you search for an address, the text you type is sent to Mapbox to turn it into coordinates.
- Apple and Google — they distribute the mobile apps and, in doing so, receive their own installation data under their own policies.
- Email delivery — sign-up confirmations and password resets are sent through our mail infrastructure.
Your data is yours
You can edit or delete anything you created, at any time. To delete your account together with everything in it, write to us at the address below and we will do it. A self-service button is being built.
Children
rewemind is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
We will update this page when the product changes, and the date at the top will tell you when. If a change is significant, we will say so in the app.
