rewemind is at an early stage of development. It is offered to you as it is, with all its faults. It may lose data, corrupt data, become unavailable without warning, or stop existing. Features may change or disappear. You use it entirely at your own risk.
Do not use rewemind as the only storage for anything you cannot afford to lose. Keep your own backups.
By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Access is approved by hand
While rewemind is in early development, you can only get in by invitation. You can register yourself, but a new account does not start working until we activate it manually.
So if you would like to use it, write to us — through the contact page or at [email protected] — and say who you are and what you want to use it for. We cannot promise either activation or a date: this is a small project, and how many people it can carry is limited by how many we can support.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us as soon as you suspect someone else has access to it.
You need to be at least 16 years old to have an account.
What you may not do
Do not use rewemind to store or distribute anything illegal; to break into other people’s data or to try to bypass the access rules; to overload or disrupt the service; or to resell access to it. We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Your content stays yours
Everything you create in rewemind belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and no right to use it beyond what is technically needed to run the service for you — storing it, backing it up, showing it to you and to the people you granted access.
You are responsible for what you upload and for having the right to upload it.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, free of errors, or that any data stored in it will be preserved or recoverable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of rewemind shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the service. This includes, without limitation, loss or corruption of data, loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, interruption of your work, and any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised that such damage was possible.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be disclaimed or certain liabilities to be excluded — most often liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, or for intentional or gross misconduct. Where that is the case, those exclusions do not apply to you, and our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
Our rights during the testing period
While the testing period lasts, we reserve the right to refuse access to anyone and to delete any data, without explanation and without limitation of any kind. It is fairer to say so up front: the service is not finished, and we cannot guarantee that your data will survive or that the service will keep running. Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you.
Availability, changes and price
The service is currently free while the testing period lasts. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we may introduce paid plans in the future. If we start charging for something that is free today, we will say so in advance.
Ending it
You may stop using rewemind and ask for your account and data to be deleted at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we may shut the service down entirely — in which case we will make a reasonable effort to give you notice and a way to export your data.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page as the product changes, and the date at the top will tell you when. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
