The things people ask first.
How do I get in?
You can register yourself, but the account only starts working once I activate it by hand. Write to me, say who you are and what you want rewemind for, and I will switch it on.
Why by invitation rather than for everyone?
This is a small project and I want to help everyone who arrives. How many people it can carry is limited by me, not by the server.
What does it cost?
Nothing at the moment: a testing period is on. What becomes paid later is not decided yet, but what you have made will not disappear or be locked away.
Who can see what I create?
Only you, and the people you have explicitly given access to. Rights are checked in the database itself, on each item separately, and access can be revoked at any moment.
Do you use cookies?
Not one. The browser only keeps what the app cannot work without: your session, your language, your theme and small interface details. There is no analytics and there are no advertising trackers at all.
Is my data encrypted?
In transit and on disk, yes. There is no end-to-end encryption: search and file previews happen on the server. There is a longer explanation of this on the plans page.
Can data be lost?
It can. The service is at an early stage and I cannot guarantee that data survives. Do not make rewemind the only place where something important lives, and keep your own copies.
Where does it run?
The web in any modern browser, iOS through TestFlight, Android as a direct download, macOS and Windows as native apps. Same account and same data everywhere.
Can I get my data out?
Exporting the whole archive is close to the top of the plans. For now, write to me and I will export it by hand.
How do I delete my account?
Write to me and I will delete it along with everything in it. A self-service button is being built.
I found a bug, or I have an idea. Where do I write?
To the same address. I read those letters myself, and at this stage they genuinely shape what the product becomes.
